Description
Tom’s debut still shines with a sense of renewal, discovery, easy hands, and the joy of playing music. Includes his most popular original piece – ‘Swaying Grass of Summer.’
Tom’s debut album was recorded on a whim; he bought an inexpensive Spanish guitar with the thought of taking a month long break from making louder, ensemble music and getting back to his roots – the days of taking classical guitar based lessons as a boy. When he listened back, he felt that this was the true voice; the one that spoke better him than any other. The album exudes humble charm and contemplative power. It was well-received, played on over 100 NPR affiliate stations upon its release.
